As already announced one of Germany´s biggest Independents KSM which is based in Wiesbaden will for the first time release selected titles in the UK in the second quarter of 2012.

In cooperation with Koch Media sales will at first start with the two fantasy titles „Dark Relic – Sir Gregory, The Crusader“ and „Thor – The Hammer Of The Gods“ on April 2nd 2012 as DVD and Blu-ray. In May „Humanity´s End – The End Is Near“, “Dragon Dynasty“ as well as KSM´s own production “Azores 3D” and “Fascination Africa 3D“ will follow. In the high-price segment the three-part documentary “ICELAND 63°66° N“ will be released in June as a 3-disc set as DVD and Blu-ray.

In the second quarter of 2012 KSM will continuously increase its output and will also start to release special interest titles besides feature films. Furthermore it plans to also regularly release its own productions in the UK.

KSM GmbH has secured the rights to the German sales of “The Big Bang”. The star role of private detective Ned Cruz in this thriller is played by Antonio Banderas, who is hired by a Russian boxer to find his girlfriend, a stripper. The further roles in this movie with a film noir touch are played by Thomas Kretschmann, William Fichtner, Snoop Dog as well as Sam Elliott, amongst other well-known actors. Tony Krantz, who amongst others was involved in “Mulholland Drive” as producer, is the director. The distribution will take place on DVD and Blu-Ray, the release is planned for the second quarter of 2012. 29.11.2011 The AZORES 3D - KSM in a high area over the Azores in January! After “Fascination Coral Reef 3D“, the next own real 3D production by KSM is waiting in the starting blocks. On January 9th the Independent from Wiesbaden will release the nature documentation „THE AZORES 3D – In the Tracks of Discoverers, Whales and Volcanoes“. The three-part documentary about the island archipelago in the Atlantic has a total duration of 160 minutes and will be released in a 3 disc digipack on DVD and Blu-ray 3D. This nature documentary produced by Benjamin Krause is the start of the KSM series „In the Tracks of…“, for which further productions are already in process, all of these will be shot in real 3D. The Azores – World Natural Heritage, diving paradise and one of the last adventures on Earth. The archipelago, consisting of seven islands in the middle of the Atlantic, half-way between the continents of Europe and America, enchants and presents visitors with a unique ambience of relaxation and adventure. The Azores in 3D takes viewers on a journey to the last land bastion in the Atlantic, the resting place of sharks, whales, manta rays and huge swarms of fish, but also of whale catchers and discoverers. Thereby the 3D films convey the immediate experience of nature above and below water – with goose bumps and magical 19.10.2011 Fascination Coral Reef 3D nominated for the Video Champion 2011! The award of this year´s Video Champions is imminent and KSM GmbH is under the best 5! With its to date most successful own production “FASCINATION CORAL REEF 3D” it enters the competition in the category Special Interest and amongst others will have to compete against Wim Wender´s Oscar entry „PINA 3D“. The jury had to chose five titles for each of the eight categories from 150 titles submitted in total. Each year the Video Champions are awarded during the Entertainment Night in the Munich Westin Grand Hotel. This year the event will take place on November 16, and as already in 2010, will be presented by Oliver Kalkofe. The nature documentary “Fascination Coral Reef” takes the audience on a trip into the beautiful submarine world of our planet rich in powerful images. Since weeks this independent nature production defends its upper charts ranks against big productions by the Majors. 19.09.2011 KSM and Breu Media release „SPACE 2063“ on DVD for the first time! KSM and Breu Media will release the cult TV-series „Space 2063“ on DVD for the first time in the last quarter of the year 2011. Besides an extra single DVD release consisting of the pilot of the series one will launch the 22-part season with a total length of over 17 hours in a collector´s box consisting of 6 DVDs in December. „Space 2063“ (Original Title: „Space: Above and Beyond“) is one of the most successful science fiction series of the 90ties and first was shown on commercial TV in Germany. The story of young recruits of the US Marine Corps in the year 2063 is told who finds themselves in a battle against an overpowering enemy. A grim war starts and the young soldiers not only fight for their own survival, but against the total destruction of humankind...
